Brian leads the Marketing and Product Development teams while positioning Delta Vacations as a best-in-class vacation experience brand.
Brian Canning is Chief Marketing, Product and Customer Experience Officer at Delta Vacations, a Delta Air Lines Company. In this role, he is responsible for connecting all the aspects of the Delta Vacations experience that includes curating the best product offerings for customers and driving increased value for SkyMiles Members.
With more than 10 years of travel industry experience at Delta coupled with his marketing, loyalty program, partnership, and customer engagement experience, Brian is an asset to Delta Vacations. Since joining the company in 2019, he has already contributed to record-breaking marketing results, launched new brand positioning and continues to elevate Delta Vacations as a best-in-class vacations provider.
Brian joined Delta Vacation as Vice President of Business Growth but was recently promoted to his current role as Chief Marketing, Product and Customer Experience Officer, with a focus on elevating the Delta Vacations experience for both consumer direct and Travel Advisors.
In his previous role as the General Manager of SkyMiles at Delta, Brian led an unprecedented increase in customer satisfaction scores for the loyalty program. He also served in leadership roles on the American Express Credit Card and Partnership Marketing teams.
In addition to his current role, Brian also leads and facilitates the newly created Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council at Delta Vacations with the goal of becoming a more anti-racist, anti-discriminatory organization both internally and for the communities we serve.
Brian has a Master’s degree in Advertising from the University of Florida and Bachelor’s in Advertising and Business from University of Colorado at Boulder.
