The water activities on a trip to Turks and Caicos are endless. The islands create perfect diving grounds for both beginners and the most experienced divers. Get up close to the brilliant flora and fauna, fish, reefs, shipwrecks and hidden treasure. Or, simply coast the edges of the Caribbean Sea by sailboat. Catch the breeze, some sun and a cool ocean spray.

Deep-sea fishing is a major draw as well, because the tropical waters provide a flourishing breeding ground for a variety of species. For unique animal sightings, the island of North Caicos is the nesting ground of pink flamingos. Flamingo Pond hosts many of these birds, which often meander out to the middle of the pond. Bring binoculars to observe them in their natural habitat.

You’ll find children's activities, live entertainment, karaoke, beach parties and much more when you hit the town. Travel to Providenciales near the end of July for the Turks and Caicos Music and Cultural Festival — a lively week of boat races, beauty pageants, parades and parties. Internationally recognized artists are often invited to perform on the main stage.
